When I was asked to write a preface for this book, I did not know that the preface and the afterword would be included in the book. It turns out that they have left a great burden on my desk, I scarcely realized this when I read. During our boys and girls were fighting with ISIS which is the most barbarous structure enmeshed by imperialism in the world, the world imprisoned by fear watched them all with a fearful appreciation. There were those right beside us who were crowing with their hope of “Kobane’s fall is very close”, enthusiastic about playing the game for seizing a place in the Middle East cemetery. People in this geography where they did not have even a day without lies and pillage, always suffered great agonies during trying to move forward in the swamp. This has lingered and would linger unless they take their destinies in their own hands. The insurrection in Kobane has been the most meaningful, the most sorrowful example of stopping this course of events. In this book, you will read the lives and beliefs of those who hit the road for their people, who rushed to death willfully, and those who cannot believe even in their survival.
It was thanks to you that Kobane did not fall. You fought and you resisted with your hearts and souls in this most unjust, most uneven war. You guided both us and our peoples. We all are indebted to you! And there are those who are talking about the help of the USA. As the name implies, they have come to help. Well, this is a swamp, it sucks everyone in.
